[She’s honesty surprised by the ease of it. Really? Just name a date?]
I’ll let you know.
[The Doctor would never allow it, she thinks with a bitter fondness. He would rage against her cavalier hand, against her even risking that something will stick. But she has to know. She can’t let death sneak up on her, not if she’s going to be who she needs to be here. Who she’s trying to be.]
( one day river might explain why she'd agreed, not the understanding of her past, that was something river never talked about, but at least that having someone with her would be better than her doing it alone )
I'd assume so. Processes relating to circulation or breathing would be simplest to rule out. Possibly similarly with ingestion.
( she's thinking poisons than actually needing to eat. she's also absolutely going to be detached about this )
( she can get drunk though it's certainly a choice. river is going to be drinking full force, perhaps a little with the revelations from clara. at least there's someone that can 'keep up' )
[Clara gives her a side glance, just a bit lingering, and then looks back out at the dark woods.]
I can't argue that.
[There are certainly worse people she could be hiking to the liquor store with. Certainly someone less interesting and intelligent. And... less attractive. Dammit.
For a moment, she remembers that she's not the only dead woman in this forest.]

I’m fairly certain I can’t drown.

[No air, check. Poison by ingestion, check. Which likely means nothing else can get through her timelocked bloodstream.]

( can you still get drunk, clara, because having someone that could keep up wouldn't be too bad )

I still have to find out if I can get drunk. So that's test number one.
